This case is simply, awesome. The LED flash on camera works great for up close photos for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. All you got to do is hold the battery indication for 2 seconds and the LED light comes on very bright, right out of the box, and stays on for as long as you want and to turn off, just hold the battery indicating button again for another 2 seconds. The case does allow for iPod music playback with the iPhone in it and the cable linked to a USB accessory. The volume buttons can still be accessed, but case makes it a little harder to reach, nothing really to complain about though. The case does have little slits at the bottom of it, allowing for speaker at bottom to be heard perfectly fine. The On/Off switch can be left on while charging, the iPhone charges first, then the battery charges. If you leave the switch off, only the iPhone charges. And obviously when you’re on the go and your iPhone battery is about to die, switch the case to on and enjoy a full battery re-charge without plugging into anything. The case itself looks as sexy as the iPhone, last night people thought I had an iPhone 4 while I was taking pictures since I was still testing out the case. Needless to say I sure wasn’t disappointed but wasn’t highly impressed either. It did the job well, I thought of it as “oh, cool…” not “WOW!!!”.

I do wish that there was a rubber or beveled plastic bumper that extends out a little further around the front of the phone for better screen protection in case you lay the phone down on its front, the Speck Candy Shell iPhone case has that, why did they sham out of adding something like that to this case? Beats me…anyway I strongly suggest you get a screen protector since this case allows the glass to be flush with the case. As a matter of fact I will be getting the Invisi-Shield Military Grade screen protector today. It’s just that flush to the case and that is the only reason why I give this a 4 star rating. Other than that, the design is very nice, works exactly as advertised and the phone also feels better in my hands too since the case does add a little bit more bulk and weight but also gives you a better sense of security as far as holding the phone. It still fits in my pocket without creating a bulge.
