I bought this unit to use in my Prius. The older FM transmitter that I had used previously did not work at all with my iPhone 4. The GOgroove FlexPod+ Car Mount System does work with the iPhone 4, both as a charger and as an FM transmitter. The dashboard 12v socket is too low for the gooseneck on the GOgroove FlexPod+ Car Mount System, but there is another power socket in the center console, and there are two cup holders at the front of the console. I therefore installed a Wagan Twin USB and 12V DC Cup Holder Power Adapter which allowed me to make good use of the center console power outlet and cup holder. The Wagan adapter unit fit too loosely for comfort into the cup holder, so I cut some packaging foam (the spongy stuff that protects components in their boxes) and wrapped it around the sides of the adapter for a snug fit. I also secured the base of the unit to the base of the cup holder with super strong double-edged tape (a Home Depot item–it’s not going anywhere now!) This arrangement provides added stability to the top-heavy GOgroove FlexPod+ Car Mount System with an iPhone plugged in. I also attached some of the packing foam to the back of the GOgroove FlexPod+ Car Mount System iPhone/iPod-mounting head to prevent it from rattling against the plastic door in my dashboard.

Everything works well, both mechanically (the gripping mechanism for the player devices is superbly designed) and electronically (good, if not excellent sound, but as good as can be expected from an FM transmitter).

It came set to 88.1 MHz, and I tried that frequency, though there is a strong FM station at 88.3 here in the Washington, D.C. area. 88.1MHz worked well without any interference from WAMU at 88.3 MHz. I have not figured out how to use the hands-free iPhone call capability, because the directions are somewhat ambiguous about where to insert the other end of the double-ended stereo jack cord (one end plugs into the unit itself): the iPhone or the radio. When I plugged it into the iPhone, it shut off the other sound that was playing through, and I have no stereo jack in my radio. But, I bought it for charging and playing my iPnone/iPod devices, and for that it works better than I could have anticipated.

My recommendation: this is a buy.

I bought this item for my iphone 4 and i love it!

My iphone 4 is now my main camera i use, so i knew i would need a battery charger. I took my iphone to Otakon last weekend and never had to charge my phone once from the wall plug, thanks to splash. My phone lasted me 3 days, and in those 3 days i took over 420 pics, 10 videos, sent 150+ texts, made many short calls to find people, and i would say 90 mins of game play with apps.

Making my phone last 3 days i’d say it gets 5 stars and worth the money. charges nice in your pocket can be a little big but still fits. Just look at the pics i posted.

The only thing i am afraid of is when am charging it in my pocket it feels like the piece where its connected could snap and break if your rough with it. Or fall and hit it or if something pushes against it heavy

Just bought this card to shoot in RAW mode, So for JPEG use this card is more than plenty fast on most just about any hi res DSLR or point and shoot.

I caught a busy signal with this card on my Rebel T2i/550D after about 5-6 shots in rapid succession. This camera shoots at 3.7 frames per second. If you are going to shoot RAW with this camera bump it up to the 30mb/s card.

Still a great product, I will continue to use it.

This is the third Toshiba DVD player I have owned. The previous two unceremoniously died from mechanical malfunction. But I own a Toshiba HDTV and love the fact my remote is compatible with both TV and DVD player. Why do I keep coming back? Am I a sado-electro-masochist? The fact is TOSHIBA was instrumental in the development of DVD technology and when these units work the picture quality is FANTASTIC. Crisp, clear and beautifully coloured images. Actually quite spectacular. The sound quality is excellent and you can get a lot of volume out of these players. This isn’t a big investment. It’s yours for under fifty dollars, including shipment cost from AMAZON.COM. What you get is a multi-regional player, so you can play NTSC and PAL discs which is quite nice. You can order discs world wide and be able to play them. Brilliant that. Moreover, the unit is actually quite sophisticated and although setting it up properly did take me quite a bit of time, it has a bunch of worthwhile bells and whistles. It comes with a booklet that describes it’s features and they are many (has a USB port, for example, for JPEG and MP3 playback, CD playback, a timer display for elapsed time and remaining time on disc, a ZOOM to boost the size of the image, a compact, easy to use remote control). When all is said and done, the Toshiba SD705KV is a good bang for your buck. This player has been running smoothly and downloads fast. I’m keeping my fingers crossed I get a good run out of it.

Some say this cable is over priced. Maybe but remember you get a power adapter with the cable. This adapter is quite small, seems to shut off when not connected to an iPod, because there is no warmth that I can detect to it then. The cable is really nice to have. I can view on my TV HD movies and TV episodes from my iPod and they look great ! No compromise if you get high quality down loads. I can listen to music etc through my home stereo system all without changing the plugs. It charges the iPod and iPhone and with a doc holds them upright. I am happy with my purchase. I would buy one again. It would be nice if this was a thirty or forty dollar package but the components are high quality and look great too. The plugs fit right ( not too tight or too loose ). I have bought cheep cables that quit working soon after purchasing. I feel I have a quality product from a top shelf company. Period.

Nice llittle flash drive. Keyring provision, makes it easy to keep track of. The removable cap is easy to lose, though. 16GB of room though, , great price. It doesn’t come with any pre-loaded advertising either. Good product.
