I ordered this kit not knowing if I would be able to make this repair, but I was able to successfully change the screen without damaging anything. I followed the video on [...]. I think with a little patience and the ability to follow instructions almost anyone could make this repair. It did take me about an hour to complete the whole thing but so far everything is working as it should.

The tools that come in the kit work well. The screw driver is magnetic and I didn’t have any problems with it stripping the screws. The only tools that you actually are the suction cup, the screwdrivers, and one of the pry tools. I’m not sure why they include the guitar picks. I didn’t use those at all.

The hardest part of the repair was getting the glass screen off of the frame. I heated it up, but still had to work to get it off. The video I used also included a warning about how to go around the home button to avoid damaging it.

The only difference I noticed after the repair is on the sides of the phone. The adhesive provided is only for the top and bottom and it leaves the sides slightly loose from the frame since there is no glue there. I don’t think it is enough to cause any problems. Maybe someone could recommend some type of glue to use along the sides of the frame.
