I think people are misunderstanding the point of this product. First of all, look at the price point. You can’t expect your keyboard to perfectly laminated for the price. Secondly, it IS hard to get used to…at first. But the benefits outweigh the cons greatly. My last laptop – since I have two cats that I love to sit on my laptop and I work from home often – had the most disgusting keyboard known to man (and it’s nearly impossible to fully clean a laptop keyboard without destroying something). I bought this cover when I purchased my new laptop at the end of August 2009 and when I peel up the cover, it looks brand new!!!! IT really works well and it’s worth it. Your laptop will last a LOT longer if you get it…stop complaining and whining, put up with the slightly different feeling (I type 111 wpm and I got used to it in about 2 days), and enjoy a protected keyboard on your laptop.
