ordered this product on monday and recieved it thursday- much quicker than expected with no extra shipping charge. everything works so far- it fits snuggly with, and is charging, my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. The unit is very slim and i like that it lights up when plugged in. The equipment appears to be an authentic Dell item, unlike others sold on amazon. I’ve only had it a day so i can not speak to how long it will be lasting but all in all i would recommend this product. One draw back is that the cord is on the shorter side and the way the plug coming from the wall to the adapter unit is oddly designed so as to shorten the length even more- but this doesn’t really concern me as i mostly leave my computer in one spot near the wall plug and the product does not advertise itself to have an extra long cord.
