I purchased two of these to be able to hide the cables inside the wall before I hung my big HDTV 55″ LED/LCD on the wall. Simple to use. Take a drill and cut a hole in the wall between the studs. Use a steak knife to enlarge the hole until you are able to press the unit into the hole and screw the plate directly to the wall. I cut my holes first then fed the cables ( all four of them ) into my hole at the to and
pulled them out at the bottom. Then attached the cable plates at the top and bottom.
Very professional looking. Top plate is now behind the TV SET and the bottom is next to the Base Board. My cabinet that holds the DVR’s and Cable Box hides the bottom cable plate. I purchased the 8′ cables that Amazon sells which allowed me to hook all the units up to the TV and hidden from sight.
