I bought this because my boyfriend has sinus problems and we live in NV so it’s really dry here. We both moved here from a humid climate so after numerous nosebleeds and waking up with sore throats, my cousin recommended this to me.

After the first night using it we both noticed a difference. We don’t use as much lotion, he hasn’t had a nose bleed since and I don’t wake up with a dry throat.

The unit is easy on the eyes for one. It’s also very quiet but there is a dripping noise if you set it on the highest setting. It is extremely easy to use. To refill the unit, you remove the head and there’s a handle on the body to make it easier. There is excess water that will spill when you remove and put back the body. You do need to clean it every once in a while with soap because a slimy build up occurs. I went with the penguin because I read that one has the best mist. It doesn’t leave a film on the furniture but the carpet feels a little cold/moist sometimes when it’s left on high. We normally leave it on high overnight and about half way when we’re gone. It suggests leaving it on all day. Overall great investment and you can’t go wrong with it at some dollars when Wal-Mart is selling plain and probably not so great ones for . It is definitely worth the buy!
