I admit it, I’m a throwback. One of the things that kept me from buying a Kindle was the tactile sensation of holding a real book, turning pages, balancing it on my chest while napping. But the Cole Haan cover supplies all the tactile satisfaction of a book and more. It is soft, smooth, quality leather…like an old briefcase you’ve carried for years. The suede interior is likewise baby-soft. Surprisingly durable, the cover has continued to look good. The front flap is flexible and folds back to make the Kindle one-handed. The business card pocket is superfluous but ok. I made the initial error of purchasing one of the other hard, leather aftermarket covers. It arrived smelling musty and was more like “pleather” in appearance. I quickly replaced it with the Cole Haan, and am very pleased. Soft as the proverbial kid-glove. Buy it.
