Not being a technical guru or having any experience with WiFi made me dubious about being able to set up a network. I bought this router primarily to stream Netflix. According to Cisco-Linksys this router is for basic sharing of written material. They recommend the E2000 & E3000 for dual band and the E3000 for streaming HD video. Important note: According to Netflix you only need about 5 mps while the “n” band “E” series works at about 300 mps. It is not necessary to spend the extra 0.00. With the installation CD, setting up the router was incredibly easy. I have not shut it off yet but once setup. it just does what it’s susposed to do. I have two computers, a printer and my new WiFi (Sony S570) Blu ray DVD player hooked up to it and they all work well.
