I have owned these headphones for about 6 months now, and they are great. I shopped around and tested many different around-ear headphones in-store, and I can say that this Bose set is the most comfortable and has the best sound quality. I think that the bass is the single most notable factor in terms of audio quality; the bass is much better on Bose than on previous headphones I’ve owned. I frequently use these headphones on my laptop, to play music through iTunes or watch a movie on the portable DVD player. They provide much better sound in comparison to other headphones. Also, these headphones work well in any kind of space, with a generous 5-foot cable. There is also a 5-foot extension cord included, so the headphones have a total reach of 10 feet.

Many Bose products are noise-canceling. In terms of this exact pair of headphones, the noise-canceling technology is not included. I have had the volume at a reasonable level and sometimes can hear noise from things going on around me. Likewise, when other members of my family are using the headphones, I can occasionally hear the music from several feet away.

Again, having these headphones for only 6 months, I can’t comment on their overall lifespan, but so far they have remained durable and comfortable. This is generally more than I spend on items like this, but I am very happy that I made this purchase.
